🗣️ Street Evangelism

Besides the online evangelism we do, Ryan from NeedGod.net also leads regular street evangelism outreaches in Brisbane, Australia.

This is an opportunity for you whether you are visiting Brisbane or live locally to come along to an outreach, led by Ryan. It will give you good on the ground training in knowing how to share the gospel, we'll pair you up with someone on the team so you can see how in-person evangelistic conversations happen.

Whether you are experienced in sharing the gospel or not, you are welcome to come along.

The two times the team meets for evangelism each week are: Saturday 6-9pm and Sunday 7:30pm-9:30pm in King George Square, Brisbane.

Ideally, send through a message if you are planning on joining us for an outreach to confirm we'll be there and to look out for you.

✈ Overseas short term mission trip

NeedGod.net also offers an opportunity to be part of a short term mission trip to the Philippines, regardless of what country you are from. Ryan leads the team, and our focus is on evangelism. It's also a wonderful training ground to learn how to share the gospel if you've never done that much before.

The Philippines is a country very open to spiritual things but most of the country have no clear understanding of the gospel.

The country is predominately Roman Catholic and so most people think they are going to heaven because they are "good people".

It is a ripe mission field where people are not hesitant to speak about spiritual things, so the focus of the trip will be having gospel conversations with people we meet on the streets. The people largely speak English in Manila (the city we'll be going to), so it makes it easy to speak to them.

You will grow spiritually, you will get out of your comfort zone, and it will be a joy to serve Christ. Even if you have never evangelized before, it is one of the best training grounds.

Upcoming trips:

• Manila, Philippines: 4th - 14th March 2025

Cost: US$400 estimated land costs (excluding flights) per person.
(Price estimate is based on hotel costs of US$170 twin share (individual rooms are available for extra), food costs of $200, taxi costs of $20. Excludes the cost for travel insurance (required).

Whether you are experienced in evangelism or not, please prayerfully consider coming along. We have local Christian contacts on the ground in the Philippines we will be working with.

Requirements:

• A valid passport

• The funds required

• The right mindset - that we are there to evangelize, not just to see another country

• The physical capability of being on the streets for 4-5 hours most days (with a lunch break)

• The desire to work as a team and comply with instructions

• If under 18, an adult guardian must accompany you (there may be exceptions)

• Agree with our Statement of Faith
